Are children invited?

Answer

This is an adult only event that includes anyone on the invitation over the age 21. We hope this advance notice means you're able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The Stone Mill Inn is located at: 305 S Broad St, Hallam, PA 17406     •    Driving Directions: The venue is easily accessible from major highways, including I-83 and Route 30. Use GPS or Google Maps for precise directions.     •    Parking: Free parking is available on-site. If you plan to drink alcohol we recommend ubering to the venue. If you are staying at Courtyard York there will be a shuttle available, but only has capacity for 10 guests per departure. There will be 2 trips to the venue prior to the ceremony and 3 trips at the end of the reception; The final trip back to the hotel will be reserved for the bridal party. Please plan accordingly. The shuttle will be departing Courtyard York at 3:30pm and 4:00pm for the ceremony. Return trips from the reception will be at 9:00pm, 9:30pm, and 10:00pm. The 10pm shuttle is reserved for the bridal party.

Will we be Mr & Mrs Butler

Answer

No. We will be Mr. Butler and Mrs. Kreider. Kristen will be keeping her last name because alliteration is fun, she is a strong independent woman, and because it’s a pain for her to change her name on her social work license that she worked very hard for.

What is the timeline for the day?

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4:30pm. Immediately following the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour. Dinner and dancing to follow! The event will conclude at 10pm. There will be an afterparty at the Courtyard York hotel bar from 10pm-1am!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will have a cocktail attire dress code. We invite you to dress stylishly and elegantly, but feel free to add your personal flair! For men, this typically means a suit or a jacket with dress pants and a tie. For women, a cocktail dress, chic separates, or a dressy jumpsuit would be perfect. Think semi-formal but still comfortable enough to dance the night away! Please avoid jeans, casual wear, or overly formal attire like tuxedos or evening gowns. We can't wait to see how you all shine on our special day! Our ceremony will take place in a grassy field, so please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear!

Do you have a gift registry?

Please see the "registry" page for our wedding registry. In lieu of physical gifts, we’ve created a registry that includes opportunities for us to explore, learn, and grow as a couple. From cooking classes and wine tastings to travel adventures, your gift will help us build a life rich in memories and stories.

How do I RSVP?

Each invitation will have a QR code to scan in order to RSVP and select the dinner option for each invited guest.

We are at capacity so we are sadly unable to accept additional guests.

We don't have a wedding hashtag but would love to hear what you think it should be.

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a welcome event at a local brewery on Friday April 11th. There will also be an after party at the Courtyard York hotel bar. Please see the "schedule" page for more detailed information.
