Kristen and Eli met while working at Dion's in Lubbock, TX. They had both transferred from different Albuquerque Dion's locations and first bonded over being from New Mexico. They quickly turned into friends: running errands together, playing Minecraft, and starting their own book club. This went on for 2 years, until one day Eli confessed his feelings while they were driving back from a friend's birthday dinner. Kristen was completely shocked by Eli telling her this, and she didn't say anything to him for 24 hours simply because she couldn't think of what to say. After a grueling 24 hours, she told Eli how she felt about him, and they later decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend. Fast forward 2.5 years after his confession, Eli decided it was time for a change in their relationship. Eli asked Kristen to marry him on August 30th, 2025. She confidently said yes and they are so excited to begin the rest of their lives together.
