Historic lighthouse just down the road from the wedding venue. Stay off the dark rocks!
A very cute town to wander and grab an ice cream cone. Kristen and Cathy have been known to buy the odd piece of jewelry from Northern Sun :)
Beautiful town in the Annapolis Valley with lots of shops, restaurants, wineries and cideries and, most importantly, home of the Haleys!
Though Kristen and Chris haven't eaten here, we hear it's a great spot for a lobster dinner (with bibs and all) by the ocean! Check with Nelly and Steve for confirmation.
Ollie approved hiking trail, and Kristen's favourite hike in Nova Scotia! Go early as it gets busy, but give it a miss on a foggy day as the view is the best part.
Beautiful spot for a view of the Annapolis Valley, Wolfville and Minas Basin. No walking required!
Cute farmers market with fresh local produce, delicious ice cream and a petting zoo. A favourite spot for Kristen to visit with Bevan when in town!
The best double date spot with Bevan and Dan. Delicious food and cocktails.
Amazing pub in North End Halifax. They also rent a couple of rooms upstairs if you need a place to stay in the city!
Chris and Kristen's favourite restaurant in Halifax. The beef tartare is a must, and they have an entire gin and tonic menu!
If you're willing to make the hop over to Dartmouth, their croissants are to die for!
Delicious seafood restaurant in Halifax and the site of many Vandenberg family celebrations. Make sure to try the bannock bread.
Beautifully landscaped Victorian gardens in the middle of downtown. Great for an easy afternoon stroll (but they close at sunset!).
Cathy's favourite seafood chowder in Halifax, and a great spot for some live fiddle music.
Excellent coffee and to-go breakfasts (shout-out to the cinnamon rolls and scones). Bonus points if you find the picture of John Stamos.
Formerly buck-a-shuck oysters, now buck-fifty-a-shuck, but still delicious!
Late night wedding poutine, anyone?
