Unfortunately the place we are getting married at is a national forest and is on a trail. The company we are going through only allows a small amount of people to be there. We decided that parents and our children are only going to attend the ceremony.
At this moment the ceremony will be held on the Rock Bridge Trail in Red River Gorge. We plan on just going about 0.25 miles to the location. it's flat and wooded so bring comfortable shoes.
For those attending the ceremony, a cabin will be provided. All information will be given closer to the date.
We are still working on the details. we are hoping to have the bride's father drive a vehicle that has third row seating. Since the parents and the couples children and a friend are all that will be attending the ceremony, we should be able to fit all in one car. The bride and groom will drive separately due to the three mile hike for pictures. If a ride is needed to Kentucky from West Virginia please let the bride know and we can accommodate.
Dress casual with comfortable shoes. There is a small amount of hiking involved. It's all flat but is wooded.
Absolutely! we will have limited number of porcelain plates due to cost but will have plenty of plastic wear and food. Everyone can come and celebrate with us!
We will have wine for for us, the bride and groom, to toast but there will not be alcohol served nor will it be brought to the reception. Out of respect of the bride's family who will be providing us with the location to have the reception we will not be serving any liquor.
We are planning make your own pasta, so yes. there will be different sauces and toppings along with salad and breadsticks. If there are any other dietary restrictions, please reach out to either the bride or groom and we will do our best to accommodate.
Dress casual. Be comfortable but dress accordingly mostly because of pictures. Jeans are acceptable.
