CJ and Kristens story begins in 2008 when they both attended college together. They had a class together at West Virginia State University in Institute, West Virginia. Years went by and neither had talked to each other. After a few years CJ started looking to online dating and found Kristen's profile on a site and sent her a message saying hi. Since she never used them she did not see this. This happened again a few years later and she asked CJ to talk to her on Facebook. They became fast friends and best friends. CJ became the person who she would comfy into when she was down and he helped her through a hard time in her life. November of 2017, CJ asked Kristen to go on a date with him she accepted. December 2, 2017, They met at Olive Garden in South Charleston, West Virginia. After their first date, they were inseparable. September of 2018, at Twisted Gun Gold Course at hole 8 where the view is gorgeous and you can see four states, CJ asked Kristen to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes! Planning the wedding was a lot of work. The plan was to go to Tennessee and get married but unfortunately COVID 19 changed those plans. They eloped May 25, 2019 at a beautiful ceremony in Mason County Court House and a reception at Tu-Endie-Wei State Park with family and friends. Their lives together have been beyond a dream. They have made so many memories together and have been eachothers shoulder to lean on. May 25, 2024 will mark their 5 year wedding anniversary together. They decided that since they did not get to have their wedding in 2019, they will have one now. Red River Gorge, Kentucky is a gorgeous place and holds memories for them and their two children. They are excited to share this day with you and hope you love the beautiful views the gorge has to offer.
