Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, please limit attendance to the number of guests indicated on your invitation/RSVP. When you RSVP it will indicate if you have a date. Feel free to ask Kristen if you can't find this information.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or slacks, but don't feel like you have to wear a jacket or full suit.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Don't experience our wedding through a viewfinder! We ask that you not take any photos during the ceremony. For the reception though - take as many photos as you like!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors?

Answer

YES! We're not tempting fate trying to predict Illinois weather. Both events will be indoors, but you may need to walk for a few minutes so keep an eye on the weather for rain!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry with Amazon here: amazon.com/wedding/share/kristen-and-joel

What are you doing regarding COVID?

Answer

We expect everybody who attends to be vaccinated (if medically able). Masks will also be required during the ceremony.

Will Kristen be changing her name?

Answer

Nope! For the time-being at least, Kristen will remain Kristen Buhrmann.
