Kristina's roommate in graduate school had plans to meet up with some old friends of hers from college. She didn't want to go alone so she bribed Kristina into coming with her by saying "a cute tall guy" would be there too. Meanwhile, across the border in NY, Ari and his friend, Chris, were looking forward to seeing their old friend from college. Ari learned that Kristina would be joining them too at which point (after social stalking, of course) he REALLY began to look forward to it. The four of them had brunch the next day in Hoboken. Ari and Kristina hit it off immediately. They most notably spent much of brunch talking about dolphins and psychology experiments. They wandered around Hoboken afterwards and passed a young entrepreneur selling girl scout cookies. The longing look in Kristina's eyes said it all. Ari knew what he had to do. He said he'd be right back and returned a few minutes later with several boxes of cookies for her. They've been feeding one another heart, body, and soul ever since!
2020 was a rough year. But it wasn't all bad! After postponing our wedding, we tried to look to the future and get excited about a May 2021 celebration....but it just didn't feel right. We realized that we didn't want to spend another minute not married to each other. So, we decided to make it official, just the two of us, at our local courthouse on November 23, 2020. We took some pictures at Historic St. Mary's City, our special place where we walk Bowser and Peach every morning. Then, we went to the grocery store, grabbed some Ben & Jerry's, and went home to watch Jurassic Park. Not how we pictured our wedding day, but not too shabby either. We are so excited to renew our vows and celebrate with all of you in 2022! You can see some pictures here: https://photos.thirdmoonphotography.com/gallery/kristina/home
