Yes... BUT, La Parguera has its own ecosystem due to its unique geography and the mangrove islands that protect it's coast.

Did you and Ian go to school together in Puerto Rico?

Answer

Nope! We met when I was 12, he was 16, then again when I was closer to 22, then we began our long distance relationship in April 2014.

Why La Parguera?

Answer

La Parguera is where our love blossomed and a very special place for Ian, his hometown. For me, it's the first place I lived in, after being born in Oakland, California and it's also where my parents met.

Do I need to speak Spanish in Puerto Rico?

Answer

Most people speak English! Specially in tourist areas, but you'll run into the occasional person who doesn't, it can happen! Brush up on your - Hola! Gracias! Por favor! Donde esta el baño? Habla Inglés?
