Friend - Known for 12 years Kris: I first met Payton at marching band practice as a freshman in high school. We were in the alternate section practicing marching fundamentals, and he thought that it would be funny to teach me how to march backward incorrectly so that I would fall. Payton and I both moved to Lafayette to attend UL. We were roommates in three different apartments, and he has been my best friend for 12 years.

Friend - Known for 6 years Marie: I first met Saige as a brand new Freshman at UL Lafayette. We were in the same Krewe at SOUL Camp and even pledged the same sorority during rush. We take turns getting each other into and out of trouble. Saige has always been there for me, no matter the distance between our homes. She supports me and tells me when I'm wrong when I need to hear it. She is loyal, encouraging, and stubborn, and I wouldn't change a single thing about her.

Friend - Known for 7 years Kris: Jake and I first met playing League of Legends tournaments. My team would always lose to his team, but I hold onto the one time that I out-smited him at Baron. We have lived together and worked together. He can fall asleep on any couch he finds. He is still one of my favorite people to play League with and is one of the most loyal friends that I am lucky enough to have.

Sister In Law - Known for 4 years Marie: I have known Morgan the shortest amount of time of all my Bridesmaids, but what our relationship lacks in length, it makes up for in heart. Morgan is the sister I always wanted, and I could not be more thrilled to have her as a part of my family. From thrift store trips, to late-night cricuting sessions, to complaining (with love) about the men in our lives. She is smart, driven, creative, and has a huge heart! I have no idea how I survived before, without her in my life, and I can't wait to see our families grow together.

Friend - Known for 7 years Kris: Jake and I worked at Cane's together when I first moved to Lafayette, and we would longboard on our rare off days around Girard Park. He has been my music festival partner on countless occasions. From 9 hour drives to Tennessee to quick trips to New Orleans, Jake has been there. He literally always has my back, and I am lucky to call him my friend.

Friend - Known for 6 years Marie: I first met Madison through Facebook. A random person adding me and messaging me to let me know that we would soon be roommates. Thank you, UL, for matching me with this insanely creative, fun, and outgoing person; I could not have asked for a more perfect roommate to start that chapter of my life with. From those late night conversations as we both fell asleep to the countless meals we shared together, thank you for being a light in my life.

Friend - Known for 12 years Kris: I met Ryan for the first time in marching band. It was our first day on the field, and I didn't know that everyone was supposed to stop at the sidelines. I kept going and walked right into the back of Ryan's head with my trumpet. He eventually forgave me, and we became partners in crime. After we made it through high school, Ryan and Payton both moved to Lafayette with me. While being roommates, we survived a flood, cleaning fumes, and Ryan stabbing himself in the leg with a boxcutter.

Friend - Known for 5 years Marie: I met Loren when I was at a hard point in my life, I had just moved back to Texas after a very unsuccessful first semester at college. We worked together and immediately bonded. We were inseparable for months as we both worked the same 2 jobs. She helped me get my spark for life back, and when I made the decision to move back to Louisiana, she has remained a huge supporter of my life. She is smart, funny, caring, one of the best listeners I have ever met, and an absolute blessing in my life.

Marie: Alaine is my cousin Alex's 2 year old daughter. She is smart, funny, and beautiful. She is the first great-grandbaby in my family, and she is an absolute joy to every single one of us. Both she and her mom have a huge place in my heart, and I can't help but smile any time they cross my mind. I am so excited to have her be a part of my wedding and that I will get to be a part of her life as she grows.

Cousin - Known for 21 years Marie: I have known Rylee since she was born. She has been my partner in crime when we would make forts in the woods at Memaw's house with our other cousins or sleep off that second (or third) piece of pie at Thanksgiving, and we have been each other's confidant as we grew up and needed advice or someone to tell our secrets to. She is outrageously caring and purely kind. I couldn't imagine having grown up without her.

Kris: I was a teenager when Jaxon was born, and I remember getting to hold him as a baby. It's hard to believe that he is nearly a teenager himself! Jaxon always kicks my butt at basketball, and I am so proud of the young man he has grown into. I am so lucky to have him in my life and to have him be a part of my wedding day.

Marie: I have had the pleasure of knowing Allie since Kris and I started dating in 2016. She is the only girl in Kris' first cousins, so I was immediately attached to her, because I grew up with 2 brothers and know what it is like to be outnumbered. In the past couple of years, I have seen her grow up so much. She is so smart and talented. She is so kind and is always smiling. I can't wait to have her stand with me on my wedding day and to be a part of her family.

Kris: Even as a baby, Lucas had a twinkle in his eye and grin that always made you think that he was up to something. He keeps the family on their toes and always wondering what he is going to do or say next, and I couldn't imagine my life without him in it.

Kris: I have gotten to watch Ethan grow up too, and I am so proud to call him family. He loves sports and has started pitching for his baseball team. He is a blast to be around, and I am so excited for him to be a part of my wedding day.

Marie: Dyson is my older brother, and I couldn't be more proud to say so. I would be lying if I said that we always got along; I think that there is still a hole in the wall from him throwing a AA battery at me when we were younger. But we have gotten so much closer as we got older, and I appreciate his stubbornness and sense of humor more than I ever thought I would. He always has my back, and I know he would do anything for me.

Marie: Oliver is my younger brother, but of course he is taller than me. I remember when he was born, and Memaw picked Dyson and I up from school to go meet him. I was extremely disappointed he wasn't a girl, but he still managed to wiggle his way into my heart. I have gotten to watch him grow into an incredible young man with a huge heart. He is always ready to come to someone's aid and never looks to receive any credit. He works hard and has big plans for his life. I am so proud of everything he has accomplished so far.
