Most of our guests are from New England or are familiar with New England and understand how unpredictable weather can be here, even in June. Towards the end of June, we expect a warm day. But who knows, it good come off cold, foggy, and rain. A light layer is always a good option, even if the day looks sunny!
There should be a reasonable amount of parking in front of the B&B. There is plenty of space to park along their long driveway. Parking along the road is also acceptable, but we don’t anticipate that will be necessary.
Yes! Dinner will be served at 3pm on the front porch of the B&B. Light appetizers will be served between the Ceremony and Reception. You can expect a typical Maine lobster dinner. If lobster isn’t your thing, no problem. Since our guest list is small we have made arrangements with those of you we know would prefer another option. If you haven’t heard from Kris or I regarding this let us know and we’ll add you to the non-lobster list!
The event will be outdoors and casual. Casual and comfortable attire is perfectly acceptable! There is a little walking between the ceremony location and the reception. We don’t recommend heels, but do you!
The distance is not far, but does require some walking. Parking will be near the B&B, the ceremony will be at the Gazebo in the back field. Reception is back at the B&B on the front porch.
Yes! Our wedding is a small one so we can invite all guests to the rehearsal dinner too! If you’re traveling in from out of town or are local, part of the wedding party or not, please come by and share the evening with us. Dinner will be picnic-style, casual at the home of the bride’s parents right up the road from the B&B.
