Guests will check-in at the tent by the handicap parking area for temperature check and screening questions. Masks will be available to anyone who would like them. As long as people maintain social distance, the venue does not require use of masks. During reception, masks are not required when eating and drinking. The venue has disposable wrist bands in Red (keeping my distance) Yellow (good with talking but not touching) and Green (good with hugs and high fives) for a fun way for guests to communicate their level of comfort with social interaction as an option. Please arrive 30-45min before the ceremony to allow time to clear the COVID check-in tent. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have symptoms, been in close contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19/symptomatic, please celebrate our wedding from your home.
The venue consists of the barn, which has openings large enough to be considered a pavilion, and two large tents. This can safely seat 150 guests in accordance to Michigan's COVID-19 protocols. Servers and all staff on site will have masks and gloves. An antique window at the bar acts as a shield for the bartenders and guests as they order drinks. Buffets will have servers to avoid guests picking up serving utensils. All tableware will be disposable and one use only. Silverware will be pre-rolled in cloth napkins. Hand sanitizer stations are at all door entrances and on each table. Framed guidelines will be on each table outlining instructions pertaining to safe practice for your guests. Seating will be arranged by group and distanced appropriately.
We kindly ask RSVPs are submitted by July 31, 2020 so we can accurately plan catering and seating arrangements for the ceremony and reception.

Dressy Casual for an outdoor wedding. Weather permitting, we are planning on having the ceremony outside which involves a 300 yard walk in the grass to the ceremony site. Late September in Michigan can be chilly, so bring a jacket or blanket and wear heels at your own risk.
Yes! There will be signs to our wooded ceremony site, which is a 300 yard walk along a flat grassy walkway. Wagon rides to the site from the parking area and then back to the reception barn are available if needed. You can visit Something Blue Berry Farm's website to see their photo gallery. http://somethingblueberryfarm.com
Parking is available on site in a grass field. There is a gravel walkway to the reception barn and a grass walkway to the ceremony site.
As of July 10, under the Governor's order, individuals are required to wear a face covering whenever they are in an indoor public space. It also requires the use of face coverings in crowded outdoor spaces. Businesses that are open to the public must refuse entry and service to individuals who fail to comply, and must post signs at all entrances instructing customers of their legal obligation to wear a face covering while inside. Those who are exempt from wearing a mask in Michigan businesses include people younger than five years old, those who cannot medically tolerate a face covering, and those who are eating or drinking while seated at a food service establishment. https://www.michigan.gov/whitmer/0,9309,7-387-90499_90640-533941--,00.html
