Our wedding will take place aboard the Disney Destiny, departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 29, 2027 at 3:00 PM. To make planning easier for our guests, we are working with a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner who will assist with cruise bookings and travel questions. There is no fee to use her services. We strongly recommend arriving in Fort Lauderdale on April 28, 2027, the day before embarkation. Cruise ships depart on a strict schedule and cannot wait for delayed flights. Arriving the day prior helps ensure a smooth and stress-free start to the trip.

The closest airport to the cruise port is: Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) Approximately 10–15 minutes from Port Everglades cruise terminal. Miami International Airport (MIA) is another option but is about 45 minutes away.

Disney Cruise Line highly recommends that all guests obtain a valid passport for this sailing. Passports are essential for international travel and ensure the smoothest experience for boarding and returning to the United States. We strongly encourage everyone to apply as soon as possible.

Boarding the ShipBoarding the Ship
Boarding will take place on April 29, 2027 at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Disney Cruise Line assigns guests a Port Arrival Time during online check-in. This determines when you can arrive at the cruise terminal to board the ship. Arrival times will be selected during online check-in closer to the sailing date. We recommend arriving at the port at your assigned arrival time to help ensure a smooth boarding process.

Disney Cruise Line requires guests to complete online check-in prior to sailing. During check-in, you will: • Upload travel documents • Select your Port Arrival Time • Add a credit card for onboard purchases • Complete required travel information Disney will open online check-in several weeks before the cruise, depending on your Castaway Club status. More information will be shared with guests closer to the sailing date.

Luggage & Cruise TagsLuggage & Cruise Tags
Prior to the cruise, Disney Cruise Line will provide luggage tags for your stateroom. Guests can either: • Print the luggage tags at home before traveling, or • Have tags printed at the port. When arriving at the terminal, port staff will collect your luggage and deliver it directly to your stateroom later that day. We recommend keeping any important items, travel documents, medications, and valuables in your carry-on bag during boarding.
