CEREMONY
Our ceremony will take place at the base of Five Mile Point Lighthouse. Octagonal in shape, (a Connecticut lighthouse trademark) the exterior of the lighthouse was constructed of sandstone from East Haven, hauled over difficult terrain by horse-drawn drays. The interior was lined with New Haven brick. The circular staircase, with its 74 steps guiding the way to the lantern, are made of granite from local quarries. Painted white, the tower is 97 feet above sea level.

RECEPTION
Our reception will take place within the enclosed pavilion. Central among the attractions at Lighthouse Point Park is the restored antique carousel. It has 69 horses, one camel and two dragon chariots. The outer rim of the carousel contains original oil paintings of local scenes of New Haven as well as various boats, trains, mermaids and lighthouses. Beveled mirrors and pastoral paintings decorate the inner housing.

Come grab a seat and listen to the live music stylings provided by Krishna's cousin Madeline and her Cellist friend Luca Devaldia for 3:00 PM. The parking lot is just a 5-minute walk to the beach ceremony.

Weddings are a nice excuse to get dressed up! Recommended attire is dark suits and floor-length dresses. The ceremony will take place on sand so block heels, wedges, or flats, are recommended. Come feeling fabulous and ready to dance!
The Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm and the Reception and merriment will follow directly after.
