Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Holly Julian and Dan Kranz
The Holiday season in Lancaster County is incredibly romantic - full of themed attractions and fun events. And when you're done with those, they offer vineyards and breweries galore to keep your bones warm. It truly is a magical time to be here! Check out a few of our favorites, below. We fell in love with this quaint, vibrant little town that seemed to be the perfect blend of us. We hope you'll love it, too!

Lancaster Central Market

23 North Market Street, Lancaster, PA 17603
, (717) 735-6890

The country's oldest, continuously operated, public farmer's market! Open Year Round: FRIDAY 6 AM - 4 PM SATURDAY 6 AM - 2 PM

Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery

1599 Old Line Road, Manheim, PA 17545
, (717) 664-9463

We randomly stumbled upon this place the day that we booked our wedding venue and picked our date! It was the perfect little spot to celebrate over some wine and cheese tasting. We were the only two in there (first week of October) so we got a lot of one-on-one attention and just found the place to be really cozy and cute. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere even though it's only 25 minutes from Lancaster and just down the street from The Booking House. Their tasting is brought out in tubes so you can get a full "in the glass" experience without relying on being served every 2 minutes. Definitely grab a bottle before you leave to share back at your hotel room!

Lancaster Brewing Company

302 North Plum Street, Lancaster, PA 17602
, (717) 391-6258

We stopped at this historic working microbrewery for lunch while exploring the area! Such a cute spot with pretty much every beer imaginable. The casual, industrial-like ambiance made for a fun experience!

Stoll & Wolfe Distillery

35 North Cedar Street, Lititz, PA 17543
, (717) 799-4499

Visit their Tasting Room and Bottle Shop for a chance to sample their small batch whiskeys, vodka and gin or experience a classic cocktail featuring their signature spirits.

Joboy's Brew Pub

27-31 East Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543
, (717) 568-8330

Because who doesn't love BBQ & hand-crafted beers? Not to mention the sweet Speakeasy pub in the basement. Definitely a spot to check out!

Thistle Finch Distillery

417 West Grant Street, Lancaster, PA 17603
, (717) 478-8472

Reservations are not needed to visit this tasting room and distillery. During regular hours, they do free samples of their spirits, pour whiskey by the glass, serve cocktails, and sell bottles. Tours are offered at no charge, and reservations are not needed to attend a tour. If you are unable to make it out for a tour you can still view most of the distillery production area from the tasting room and the bar tenders are happy to answer any questions you may have about their spirits or the process of how they are made!
