Boston Logan Airport is located one hour south of Portsmouth, NH. With many flight options and pricing available, this is likely the best option for those traveling by plane. Transportation between Boston Logan airport and downtown Portsmouth may be arranged separately through C&J Bus Lines. For return passengers going back to the airport, it is strongly recommended to allow at least three hours from departing flight time. (i.e. if flight leaves at 10am, plan to take 7am bus out of Portsmouth bus terminal). C&J begins picking up outside Boston Logan Airport on the lower level (baggage claim) at Terminal A at the scheduled departure time, then continues onto terminals B1, B2, C, and E before exiting the airport.
