Morgan and Raechel met during their very first graduate school class and quickly became fast friends after teaming up for a group project. It didn’t take long to realize they shared the same silly energy and a few hilariously random similarities—like both having dads named Richard. Along with Julie, they formed a trio known as “The Richard’s Daughters.” During their second year of grad school, Raechel and Morgan became roommates, making countless memories and solidifying their bond. Raechel is truly one of a kind—always quick to make us laugh and an unwavering supporter of our relationship. Morgan and Raechel have truly melded families and often find themselves in multiple group chats with friends, significant others, and parents. They frequently joke about how they are messaging on at least 10 platforms at any given time. Morgan and Raechel's friendship is so unique and special that it cannot be fully captured in words. It's a connection that goes beyond shared experiences and inside jokes, but a true, lifelong bond. Morgan and Kyle feel incredibly grateful to have Raechel standing by their side on this unforgettable day.

Ethan is Kyle's older brother who has always been a source of wisdom and guidance. Growing up together, they share countless memories. From childhood adventures to navigating the ups and downs of adulthood, Ethan has always been there for his younger brother, offering support and the occasional rivalry only brothers can share. One of the pleasures of Kyle's life has been watching Morgan bond with his family, especially his siblings. As the older brother, Ethan is often teased by his siblings and Dad. Kyle knew Morgan would fit right in after she joined in during their first family dinner together. Today Ethan and Morgan often go back and forth, and even though Ethan never wins, their relationship has brought Ethan and Kyle closer throughout the years. More than just a brother, Ethan has always been a friend, and their bond has only grown stronger over time. Having watched his brother find the love of his life, Ethan couldn't be more thrilled to stand by his side. He's excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, offering his heartfelt congratulations and plenty of laughs along the way.

Lizz is Morgan’s older sister, and like most younger siblings, Morgan always looked up to her—even if that meant eating deodorant at Lizz’s suggestion or “allowing” her to experiment with cutting Morgan’s hair. Thankfully, their relationship has grown into something truly beautiful since then. Lizz and Morgan share a love of laughter, crafting, and finding comfort in the same movies and TV shows. One of Morgan’s favorite memories with Lizz is their trip to D.C., where they managed to visit all the monuments in a single day while still making time to explore the city’s best restaurants and share their mutual love of trying new foods. Lizz has always been Morgan’s biggest cheerleader, including in her relationship with Kyle. Together, the three of us laugh endlessly and create the most joyful memories. It has been a great joy of Morgan's life to see Kyle and Lizz's relationship blossom into a true sibling bond.

Nolan is Kyle's (not so) younger brother as he is celebrating his 21st birthday this year. He is known by all for his adventurous spirit and caring nature. As the younger brother Nolan has always pushed himself to keep in stride with his older brothers - sharing hobbies, interests, and laughs along the way. Outside of family life, Nolan is passionate about all things sports related, and often is the first person Kyle hears from when there is a big trade. Nolan, Kyle, and Morgan have been to many big games together, sharing many memories over the years cheering on their favorite teams. Throughout the years Nolan has become close with a lot of Kyle's friends. His warm heart, positivity and generosity have made him a fan favorite amongst all who have gotten the pleasure to know him. Kyle and Morgan are so proud to have him by their side on this special day.

Emily and Morgan met at Purdue as lab partners on the very first day of Cell Biology. Morgan considers herself incredibly lucky to have had a partner who always knew exactly what to do in the lab, but what truly made the experience special was how Emily turned every lab session into something to look forward to. After that first lab, Morgan and Emily started aligning their schedules so they could continue being lab partners and sit together in class. These days, Morgan, Emily, Emily’s husband Ryan, and Kyle share endless laughs while playing games and watching silly videos together. Morgan had the privilege of standing by Emily’s side as she married Ryan, and now she’s overjoyed to have Emily by her side on her own big day.

Jake is the guy who always knows how to lighten the mood with his quick humor and infectious laughter. He and Kyle became fast friends after meeting at Bonefish, and it didn't take long before they were cracking jokes and making everyone else laugh. Although Jake's time at Bonefish ended shortly after Morgan moved away, he and Kyle remained close and later worked together again at Sedona before Kyle moved to Lansing for school. Kyle and Jake often find themselves very competitive with each other. Whether they're playing video games, golfing, shooting hoops, or watching their teams go head-to-head, bragging rights are always on the table! Jake's ability to turn any situation into something fun and his genuine friendship have made him an essential part of Kyle and Morgan's lives. On the wedding day, you can bet he'll be the one keeping everyone laughing!

Angela Van Slembrouck

Morgan and Angela first met while working together at MPHI. They quickly realized they made a phenomenal team, connecting through lighthearted banter about March Madness and their coworkers, while making great progress in their meaningful work. It was on a bachelorette trip for a mutual friend where their bond truly solidified. Angela is the kind of friend who keeps you grounded. She's 100% genuine and truthful, always saying what you need to hear, even if it's not what you want to hear. While Morgan and Angela share countless similar interests, it's their differences that truly highlight the strength of their friendship. They know how to show up for each other, checking in often and offering unwavering support. Though they've only known each other for a few years, their friendship feels like it's been a lifetime in the making. It's the kind of bond that will stand the test of time, and Morgan couldn't imagine this special day without Angela by her side.

Justin is Kyle's first friend he made at Bonefish. On Kyle's first day of work, Justin trained him and introduced him to many people he calls friends today. On top of that, after knowing Kyle for maybe a week or two, Justin invited him over for his Super Bowl party, where Kyle got to hang out with Justin, Jake, Chris, and Mark outside of work, which was the start of an inseparable friendship. Kyle and Justin both love connecting to discuss movies and shows, especially anything Star Wars. Upon request, Justin will read the opening crawl for any Star Wars movie night! Kyle also looks forward to the Fantasy Football draft that Justin hosts every year, even though they always tell each other this is their last year doing it. Although Justin moved to northern Michigan several years ago, their bond has remained strong. Whether through texts, calls or visits, they've made sure to stay in touch. Even though they don't see each other as often, their friendship always picks up right where it left off!

Morgan and Julie met during their first few days of grad school, introduced through Raechel. They instantly clicked at their first DC happy hour, bonding over their shared love of dachshunds and their opinionated perspectives on just about everything. While studying at a coffee shop one day, Morgan, Julie, and Raechel, discovered that they all had dads named Richard, officially dubbing themselves, "The Richard's Daughters." This silly nickname perfectly encapsulates the quirky, fun-loving energy that defines their friendship. Together, the trio shared countless happy hours, concerts, study sessions, and spontaneous weekend trips, making the most of what were some of the busiest and best years of their lives. Despite living in different cities now, every time Morgan and Julie reunite, it's like no time has passed - and they can never stop talking. Julie has a rare ability to connect with everyone and make them laugh with her absurd (but always entertaining) opinions and ideas. Their friendship is truly one of a kind, and "The Richard's Daughters" are for life. Morgan and Kyle couldn't imagine this special day without Julie by their side.

Logan has been a constant in Kyle's life ever since his college days, and their bond has only grown stronger over time. Their passion for baseball created an instant connection and led to many nights spent watching the Lansing Lugnuts play some of the worst baseball you'll ever see. Recently Logan and Kyle went on a road trip with Jack and Jake to see the Tigers play at Wrigley Field against the Cubs. This was Logan's first time at Wrigley Field, and Kyle's first trip with his pals so it was absolutely a weekend to remember. Both Kyle and Logan are looking forward to their next trip to Wrigley! Kyle and Morgan love their dinner nights with Logan, and Morgan especially appreciates all the good praise she gets from Logan on her cooking. Whether it's talking baseball or having deep conversations about their future, Logan has always been there to offer support and good humor. With his quick wit and compassionate heart, he's the kind of friend you can always rely on for an honest opinion and good company.

Morgan first met Ella when she was just 10 years old and has had the great privilege of watching her grow into the amazing young woman she is today. Ella is thoughtful and has a quiet strength that is something to admire. Some of Morgan's favorite memories with Ella include taking her to a Chelsea Cutler concert and cheering on the Boilermakers together at Purdue basketball games. These moments remind Morgan how much she treasures their time together and how proud she is to call Ella her sister. No matter what life brings, Morgan wants Ella to know that she will always be there for her, as her biggest supporter, confidant, and new sister for life. This special day wouldn't feel right to Morgan or Kyle, without Ella standing by their side.

Jack and Kyle met in college and their connection was immediate. They both love sports, and often bond over the fact that they aren't Detroit sports fans. From game nights, to getting together on Sundays for a full slate of NFL football, the memories we've created are unforgettable! Recently Jack has been applying to grad schools all around the country. He is one of the most insightful people that Morgan and Kyle know! Jack pairs his intelligence with being one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Kyle has been extremely fortunate to have someone so good hearted in his life. Jack's unwavering loyalty and supportive personality make him the perfect friend to have around. With a shared love of sports, movies, and a good laugh, Jack is always the first person Kyle turns to when in need of advice. His genuine care for others and strong moral compass make him an invaluable friend.

Morgan and Kyle always knew they wanted Brendan to hold a special role in their wedding, given the close bond they each share with him. It felt only fitting to have him officiate their ceremony, as he has been there from the very beginning, witnessing and supporting their journey while building meaningful relationships with them both. They feel deeply honored to have Brendan take on this role and are filled with excitement to celebrate this momentous occasion together.
