Are children invited?
Answer
While we LOVE your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you "and guest," you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate our closest family and friends. We thank you for understanding!

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?
Answer
If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our specified deadline, you will be marked as "Not Attending." The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner. We hope you understand and we will miss you celebrating with us!

What is the weather like in Kennebunkport in mid-October?
Answer
The average temperature in Kennebunkport, ME in October for a typical day ranges from a high of 59°F to a low of 47°F. Please keep in mind The Nonantum Resort is perched along a bend in the Kennebunk River so it may be a bit chillier and breezier!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm, so please arrive by 4:00 pm at the latest.

Will the wedding be outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, yes, the ceremony will be on the lawn so you may want to plan your shoe selection accordingly and bring a light jacket, shawl or wrap. Blankets will also be provided to help keep guests warm. Afterwards, we will move inside for the cocktail hour and reception.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
During the ceremony, we encourage you to be fully present and not take any pictures. Our photographer will be providing us with links to all pictures taken from the night and happy to share them with anyone. You are more than welcome to take any pictures during the cocktail hour and reception!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. We have waited a long time for this day so party accordingly!

Do you have a hotel room block?
Answer
You will receive the best rate available and personal service by calling their reservations team directly at 800-552-5651. Individuals reserving over the phone must identify themselves with the Koszarek/Russell (KOSRUS) Wedding, Saturday October 19, 2024 in order to be included in the group block. Guests can also book reservations on their website and enter our group code (KOSRUS) or put in the notes field that you are attending our wedding. More hotel blocks to come soon!

Is there parking at Nonantum?
Answer
Yes! There is plenty of parking both for guests who are staying onsite at the hotel and for those staying offsite and planning to drive and park at the Nonantum for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Will transportation to and from the after party be provided?
Answer
Yes! The Nonantum will run a shuttle to drive anyone wanting to attend the after party to and from [location still TBD ;)], which will be less than a mile from the Nonantum.

Will transportation to and from the venue be provided?
Answer
Transportation to and from the venue will not be provided. All of the day's activities, including the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be taking place at The Nonantum. We suggest guests stay onsite at this resort or close by within the Kennebunkport / Cape Arundel area.

If I am staying at The Nonantum Resort under the hotel block, is there a minimum night requirement?

Where do I fly to get to Kennebunkport?
Answer
You can fly to either Boston or Portland, ME. It takes 1.5 hours to drive from Boston to Kennebunkport. Portland to Kennebunkport is only a 30-minute drive. You can rent a car or arrange transportation services. Feel free to reach out if you need recommendations!
Question
How do I get around Kennebunkport?
Answer
The Nonantum has a 14-person shuttle that runs on the hour every hour making stops at the beaches, downtown (i.e. Dock Square), and restaurants. This is a first come first serve basis and is open to all resort guests. Guests would head down to their lower parking lot to catch a ride on the shuttle on the hour. Please keep in mind that Uber and Lyft are not available in Kennebunkport. The town is very walkable if you are staying near downtown!
