We're getting hitched!

Sometimes the best things in life start with a last-minute job offer. In the summer of 2021, we each got one — a ranch up in Sunlight Basin needed wranglers, were we available? We both said yes, showed up to the 7D Ranch, and hit it off immediately. Horses, mountains, and the great outdoors — we had all the important things in common. That first summer we became great friends, learning how to work and laugh together. Turns out the 7D has a reputation for great love stories — and we were about to become one. The next summer brought us both back to the 7D. Somewhere between trail rides and pack trips and long days in the saddle, we started dating — and ended the summer completely in love. The years that followed were full of adventures, questionable horse-buying decisions, and a whole lot of fun. In June of 2025, back in Sunlight where it all started, we got engaged, and we've been smiling about it ever since.
