The best area to stay in San Miguel de Allende is the historical Zona Centro, as this is where you will find all of the city´s most interesting places. You can easily walk the entirely of the center, where you will find the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, the city´s emblem, which has a beautiful tower and a colonial Mexican style facade. Another emblematic place to visit is El Jardín, one of the city’s main squares, which is surrounded by shops and street markets, perfect for a beautiful walk or to sit out on one of the many terraces for lunch or even have a drink while listening to the Mariachis.
