Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all at Castle Farms in the Knights Castle area in Charlevoix, Michigan (see map above).

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. We ask that you arrive by 5:10pm and are seated by 5:25pm.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is complementary in the venue's west parking lot shown on the map above.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that friends and family adhere to the Formal attire dress code. We encourage suits and floor length gowns/jumpsuits. Our wedding colors are dusty blue and sage green, but we welcome you to wear any color you'd like (please refrain from white)!

May I take pictures with my phone?

Answer

We'd love our friends and family be fully present during the ceremony, so we ask that you put your phones away and have them on silent during the ceremony (we have given our photographer the go ahead to smack phones...so beware). Once the ceremony is finished and the bridal party has exited, pictures are welcomed!

Will the wedding and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in the outdoor courtyard area of the Knights Castle and the reception will be held inside the castle itself. Cocktail hour will be hosted in both areas, weather providing. October in Michigan is unpredictable, so please be prepared for all climates.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Please only RSVP for and bring those listed on your invitation.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have an open bar throughout the cocktail hour and reception. Beer, wine, seltzers, non-alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks will be available.
