Welcome to our next chapter!

Jon and Kori met on a cool, rainy night in the fall of 2013 at a mutual friends college apartment just off campus of Michigan State University. Jon was just stopping in to his neighbors apartment to say, "Hello" before embarking on a night out. Kori was spending the night at her friends apartment doing what normal college students do...playing Edward 40 hands. When Jon left, Kori turned to her friend and said "oh, we are going to get married one day", as every girl does when they meet a cute boy. The two only ran into each other a few times in passing before Kori moved in with their mutual friend, newly single and ready to mingle. Little did she know that Jon was going to be a recurring character in her story over the next few months. Every time he would leave, Kori would tell her friend "did you see the way he blinked at me? We are SO getting married." One night, Kori's roommate got a text message with a picture attached from Jon that said "guess who I just found on Tinder." Screeching and running to get her phone while chanting "which way did he swipe?!", Kori started flicking through Tinder profiles until she found the one she was looking for. Lo and behold, 'twas a match! The two became nearly inseparable, watching movies, telling each other secrets, making each other laugh, and sharing stories. On October 25, 2014, in front of the Michigan State University football stadium right before the MSU vs UofM game, decked out in MSU gear (and yes, Jon let Kori dye his hair green that day, like a gentleman), Jon asked Kori to be his. And now, on October 4, 2025, almost 11 years to the day, Kori will be able to say "I TOLD you we were going to get married!"
