Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Hunter Korf and Sam Jennings
These are the places we return to every trip. Our favorite coffee shops, bookstores, beaches, and hidden corners of the Oregon Coast. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Insomnia Coffee Co - Cannon Beach

Insomnia Coffee Co - Cannon Beach

139 West 2nd Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

A cozy coffee shop just a few blocks from the beach. Perfect for warming up after a misty morning or grabbing a latte before exploring downtown.

Island Grinds Coffee & Juice

Island Grinds Coffee & Juice

240 N Hemlock St, Cannon Beach, Oregon 97110

One of my favorite Cannon Beach stops. Their smoothies and Hawaiian-inspired coffee drinks are the perfect pick-me-up after a morning on the beach.

Lazy Susan Cafe

Lazy Susan Cafe

126 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

Our must-go breakfast spot in Cannon Beach. There’s usually a wait, but it’s worth it. It’s cozy, homey, and feels like eating breakfast in my great-grandma’s kitchen.

Pizza A' Fetta Cannon Beach

Pizza A' Fetta Cannon Beach

231 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

Our favorite quick slice or order in pizza in Cannon Beach. Perfect when you need something easy while wandering town. Hunter’s favorite to take home is the Thai chicken with peanut sauce.

Bill's Tavern & Brewhouse

Bill's Tavern & Brewhouse

188 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

Our favorite place to kick off a Cannon Beach weekend. Great pub food, local beer, and just a short walk from the beach. We’ll be gathering here Friday evening for our rehearsal dinner, we’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed meal in CB during the weekend.

Warren House Pub

Warren House Pub

3301 South Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

Another one of our Cannon Beach traditions. Whether we’re warming up with a bowl of chowder or grabbing dinner after a day on the beach, Warren House has become one of those places that just feels like vacation to us.

Fort George Brewery

Fort George Brewery

1483 Duane Street, Astoria, OR 97103

One of our favorite places in Astoria, and where we’ll be celebrating cocktail hour together on Saturday.

Cannon Beach Book Co

Cannon Beach Book Co

130 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

One of my happiest places. Tucked in the heart of Cannon Beach, it’s the kind of bookstore where you can wander for a while and leave with your next favorite read.

Schwietert's Cones & Candy

Schwietert's Cones & Candy

1210 Marine Drive, Astoria, OR 97103

Warning: You may leave with more taffy than you intended. Sam has been doing exactly that since he was a kid, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Cannon Beach Soap and Candle LLC

Cannon Beach Soap and Candle LLC

251 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

A charming little shop that’s worth popping into while you’re exploring downtown. The handmade soaps, candles, and coastal scents are hard to resist.

Four Paws on the Beach

Four Paws on the Beach

107 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

Griffey & Laika’s official recommendation. Every toy we’ve brought home from Four Paws on the Beach has been enthusiastically tested and approved.

Fetch Cannon Beach

Fetch Cannon Beach

271 North Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

A must-stop for fellow dog lovers. We can’t seem to visit Cannon Beach without spoiling Griffey and Laika, and some of Laika’s favorite outfits have come from Fetch over the years.

Cannon Beach - Haystack Rock

Cannon Beach - Haystack Rock

Cannon Beach, OR

Our favorite place to slow down. Walk the shoreline, watch the waves around Haystack Rock, and let the Oregon Coast work its magic. Make sure you look for a tufted puffin perched on Haystack Rock!

Hug Point State Recreation Site

Hug Point State Recreation Site

Beach Access Road, Arch Cape, OR 97102

One of our favorite Oregon Coast adventures. Visit during low tide to explore sea caves, towering cliffs, and a waterfall that flows right onto the beach. It’s one of those places that feels magical.

Ecola State Park

Ecola State Park

Cannon Beach, OR 97110

The view is worth the drive. The road to Ecola is narrow, winding, and can feel a little intimidating, but don’t turn around. You’ll be rewarded with breathtaking overlooks, beautiful hiking trails, and some of our favorite views on the entire Oregon Coast.

Fort Stevens State Park

Fort Stevens State Park

1675 Peter Iredale Road, Hammond, OR 97121

If you have a few extra hours, this park has a little bit of everything. Beautiful forests, beach access, the Peter Iredale shipwreck, historic military bunkers, and even one of our favorite disc golf courses.

Goonies House

Goonies House

368 38th St, Astoria, Oregon

Hey, you guys! One of Astoria’s most famous landmarks is just a short drive away. The Goonies house is still a private residence, so please follow the posted parking instructions and enjoy it respectfully from the public viewing area.
