It all started on a hot summer day in Michigan back in June of 2018. We were both attending a music festival called Electric Forest and in a sea of over 40 thousand people, we happened to be camped next to each other. Maybe it was chance, destiny, or fate. Maybe it was pure, old fashioned, dumb luck! Either way, we found each other and the rest is history. Our story started as friends but blossomed into a bond that we're happy to celebrate with all of you!

With our love for nature, hiking is a way for us to escape the city's madness. A quick drive North to the Hudson Valley opens up to a beautiful forest landscape over looking the river. Beautiful, yes...except during a heatwave which happened to coincide with Eddie's set proposal date. No matter, because today was the day. Whether on the peak, or in the parking lot. 95 degrees before noon and we're almost out of water. Paula is on the breaking point. All Eddie could do was push her by repeating "it's just up there, one more hill." Ten hills later and they make it to the top. An amazing overlook of the Hudson River winding through the valley. Eddie struggles to hide the large square box outlined in his hiking pants and while Paula's taking in the view, he takes a knee. She turns around and whatever hydration she had left turned to tears of joy. She said yes! It was the worst best hike of their lives...but a story they'll be telling forever.
