FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ronald Ciesielski and Konni Stearns
We've tried to cover all of our bases below but if you should have any other questions at all, please contact the Bride or Groom!
Question

What is the dresscode?

Answer

It's time to get gussied up because we're aiming for Western Formal attire for our special day! Think 1990's CMA's attire. Ladies, this is your chance to wear that formal dress you've been dying for a reason to! Cowboy hats and boots are strongly encouraged for both men and women attending! The terrain will be grass, gravel, and concrete so if you insist on heels, wedges would be recommended. Jeans are welcome as well of course. Dark colors (including black) are welcome, just save white for the Bride ya'll!

Question

Will the wedding be held inside or outside?

Answer

Our wedding will be held outdoors, our favorite place to be. The ceremony will be held in a scenic outdoor area and our reception will be held under a covered pole barn. The weather will (ideally) be warm until about 7:00 PM and then the temperatures will become more mild as the night goes on.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, in order to meet guest number restrictions we have chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of children in the bridal party. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

Question

Will there be a cash bar/ open bar?

Answer

The food is on us, but the drinks are on you! Please feel free to BYOB your favorite beers, wines, or spirits. Coolers are more than welcome and highly encouraged to keep your favorites ice cold—let’s raise a glass to a great night! We will be providing a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, a small selection of domestic beer, and a basic variety of seltzers.

Question

What time should you arrive?

Answer

Since we're having guests park in a location near the venue and shuttling them to the venue, we're opening the parking lot up at 3:30 PM, which gives everyone an hour before the ceremony starts to get settled into their seats. We will have two drivers transporting guests, so things will move swiftly! We recommend getting there earlier rather than later to ensure you find the best seat in the house!

Question

Is overnight parking available?

Answer

Absolutely! Feel free to catch a ride with another guest or call an Uber. Your vehicle will be safely kept on private property until any time you can pick it up the following day.

Question

When should you RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by January 15th 2027 so we can make the proper arrangements for all guests.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged. Our photographer is highly skilled and has been given very detailed guidance of what things we'd like captured. We appreciate your enthusiasm to help preserve our special day by capturing those precious moments but we assure you that our photographer will have it covered!

Question

Can I smoke on the property?

Answer

There will be a designated smoking area of the property near the reception where you can relax with a cocktail and mingle with other guests while smoking.

Question

What time does the reception end? Will there be an after party?

Answer

Our reception is scheduled to end at 11:00 PM. After party details are currently TBD.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We're serving up some Mission BBQ for our guests! We'll have a choice of three different types of meat, with sides such as Mac and cheese, collared greens, and baked beans. We'll also have cake for dessert so don't forget to save room!

Question

Will there be handicap parking?

Answer

Yes! We will provide parking at the venue rather than in the parking location for any guests who'd require a closer parking space for accessibility.
