Outdoor Ceremony

Beachy and Tropical: Bright colors, fun prints, linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, sundresses, sandals, etc. Please no denim, shorts, or swimwear.
Please plan to arrive by 3:45 so you have time to park and walk to the beach, the ceremony will start promptly at 4. Old Kona Airport Beach is a mile long stretch of beach with plenty of parking and some facilities. When you arrive, the parking lot is long and straight down along the beach, we will provide directions and the exact location on the day. Average temperature is low to mid 80s and sunny, the ceremony will be standing, on the beach, and last around 15 minutes. Group photos will follow the ceremony so please stay close by after.

After the ceremony please join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing! Umekes is around a 5 minute drive from the beach, located in downtown Kailua-Kona. There will be appetizers, a dinner buffet, dessert, wine, beer, and sodas.

Manta Ray Night Snorkel

Snorkel with manta rays in the evening! This is a unique Big Island experience. The boat ride out to the snorkel site is typically 5-15 minutes. Snorkelers face down and hold onto a floating board with lights attached, the light attracts plankton, which attracts the manta rays. Typically tours are around 90 minutes with 30 minutes in the water. Manta rays may also be visible from the shore by the the Mauna Kea resort. The tours are around $120 per person.
