Sister of the bride. A year and a half younger than Kolyse, growing up they were fiercely competitive in everything from sports to cooking. They share a love of hiking, Hallmark movies, baking chocolate chip cookies, sunshine, sports, and family game nights. Kaylee came to Georgia Southern as a freshman during Kolyse's senior year, making it the bride's favorite year of college. One of the most fun people you'll ever meet, Kaylee has been an amazing support system and encourager through PA school and, well, most of life. Whenever you put Kaylee and Kolyse together in a room, it instantly gets a lot louder.

Kolyse's best friend from elementary school. The first bonding experience was in kindergarten, where Kolyse refused to share her pink crayon with Faith while coloring. Their first argument was over whether yellow crayons could color blonde hair. Luckily the friendship recovered, and somehow survived the middle school awkwardness. High school best friends, they enjoyed all AP classes and Latin together. Kolyse got to introduce Faith as the school's salutatorian at graduation, and they stayed close throughout college. Favorite memory: convincing Bartello to book a cruise ticket and jump on the ship 24 hours after college graduation. Also, the tsunami story (if you don't know...you should ask us). One of the most fiercely loyal friends you will ever have.

Kolyse met Jess in PA school, aka the hardest 27 months of their lives. One of the easiest people to talk to you will ever meet, Jess doesn't meet a stranger. Late nights of studying, tests every week, lunch dates, and coffee breaks built a strong friendship in a matter of weeks. Kolyse's favorite person to travel with during PA school, every break you would find them lying in the sun on a beach (Panama City x 3 years, the Dominican Republic, & Turks and Caicos). Thrilled to be engaged at the same time, Kolyse is also a bridesmaid in Jess's wedding this August!

Kolyse met Page shortly after moving to Augusta and attending Warren Baptist Church. Page is one of the most welcoming and intentional people you will ever meet, and after a spontaneous Charleston trip in December 2018, they ended up becoming roommates in the Blondes of Overton House the next year! Sharing a love of the lake, ultimate frisbee, hiking, boating, and all things outdoors, that year of living together was one of the sweetest. Trustworthy and with incredible spiritual wisdom, Page is someone Kolyse trusts completely for advice and prayer. Also, she makes incredible buffalo chicken dip.

One of the Blondes of Overton, Luiza is one of Kolyse and Kyle's most hilarious friends. Originally from Brazil, Luiza's accent has had the house laughing many times (especially with the way she pronounces "thighs"). Kolyse and Luiza did a 6 week fitness challenge together, during which they grew extremely close by meal-prepping and some pretty intense workouts with Cade. Luiza has the kindest heart, and welcomed anyone and everyone into our home. Luiza is the most generous, kind-hearted friend who left encouraging notes on car windshields and cooked dinner after long days of studying.

Kolyse and Karmen met in PA school, and shared the back right row of the room with Jess and Caroline. Dinners, PA prom, study dates, stressing over tests, coffee runs, and Panama City beach trips built a strong friendship in the 27 months of nonstop studying. A friendship full of laughter, trips to Atlanta and sketchy parking garages or rear-ending someone in a Sonic drive-thru never ruin the time spent together!
