Estes Park, Colorado
Estes Park is a beautiful mountain town near Rocky Mountain National Park. It is about a 1.5-2 hour drive from Denver Airport. While guests are welcome to plan their stay anywhere in beautiful Colorado, we have planned the weekend to accomodate those who wish to make their home base in Estes! The wedding day will take place near central Estes Park and the ski day will take place at the nearest ski resort to the town (although the mountain is still about an hour away). Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions during your planning!
Flight
Denver International Airport
DIA is a central hub for both domestic and international flights, so we are hopeful that everyone will be able to secure affordable flights according to their travel plans! Estes Park is about 1.5-2 hours from the airport
Hotel
Lodging
**UPDATE (11/20)** - The historic Stanley Hotel is right next to the wedding venue and is offering rooms well below their usual rate in February so this could be a great option! We do not have a specific reserved room block for the weekend due to the fact that our wedding falls during the "off season" in Estes Park. Therefore, hotel prices are generally lower than typical group rates. While we suggest that you secure your lodging ASAP, we encourage you to explore the many hotel and AirBnB/VRBO options to find what works best for your family! Consider accounting for proximity to Black Canyon Inn (wedding venue) when booking your stay
Rental Car
Airport Shuttle or Rental Car
We strongly recommend booking a rental car (split the cost with a group)! If you don't want to rent a car and plan to travel around Estes Park (between hotel/venue) via Ubers or Lyft, consider booking a shuttle for your travel to/from the airport! Estes Park Shuttle provides shuttles between the airport and Estes Park (as well as other destinations). This could be a good option if you are traveling with a large group or wish to coordinate with other guests who have similar travel plans.
