Maid of Honor
Emily and I met one very early day in preschool. My mom had forgotten to pack me a lunch, and Emily offered some pretzel sticks to me. I accepted her offer and we continued to eat as we made fun of a kid who knocked over his tower of blocks. That pretty much sums up our relationship for the past 23 years. Despite living all the way in Seattle being a baller travel nurse, she knows exactly what to do when I need help (a.k.a. Having a skype session at a moments notice- wine included).
Best Man
Danny is one of those steadfast friends whose loyalty runs deep like a brother. We can get on each other's nerves one minute and have deep discussions the next. He's a straight shooter both in life and online gaming, which is something I appreciate in my closest friends.
Groomsman
Joe is my big brother. Need I say more? He's the epitome of a good guy, a fabulous father, and an all around role model. Even though he's 7 years my senior, he never once made me feel little or left out. I just hope I can be half the man he is one day.
Bridesmaid
Cheyenne and I met in high school, but became closer in college when we were roommates at Ohio State. We spent countless nights on the front porch of our house singing Avett Brothers while drinking PBR. We even went together to get her first cat from a shelter who ended up being crazy but we love her anyway. I can't imagine anyone who makes me laugh harder and understands my level of weirdness.
Bridesmaid
Claire (aka. "Clara") and I met sophomore year of high school. Me being the extrovert and her being the introvert worked out well. I talked her ear off and she nodded a lot until one day she complimented my hairband. From then on we became closer and I was even a bridesmaid in her wedding. I appreciate Claire because she is honest and loves some Michael Jackson "Man in the Mirror" .. you should ask her about it ;)
Groomsman
Jake was the first man recruited to be a groomsman and he didn't hesitate at all. It's in Jake's nature to go with the flow, which is why he's the perfect person to bring along on this ride. We share a passion for collecting music and vinyl that will absolutely come in handy during the reception.
Bridesmaid
Camryn and I met at Ohio State. I had to sign up for a group project for one of my speech pathology classes and joined a random group. When we all finally met one day, I noticed right away that I was not hitting it off so well with any of the people except Camryn. Her "no bullshit" mentality and humor instantly bonded us, and she has ever since never let me take things too seriously while also being an extremely supportive friend (who also has amazing style).
Groomsman
Brent is Theresa's older brother, and happens to be the same age as Joe. In that sense there is an immediate brotherly love that comes with meeting Brent. His vivacious attitude and love for all things gaming and nerdy made our friendship seem like second nature.
Bridesmaid
Leah and I met at Ohio State at a Halloween party where I was Amy Winehouse (who had recently passed) and she was a flapper girl. I think I confused her, but as time went on, she accepted my weirdness and we became closer. We have taken many girls trips to Nashville, San Diego, and Portland. She is a true friend who is always down for a beer festival. She also has the world's cutest poodle, Oscar.
Flower Girl
Lena is Chris's niece and Joe's daughter. Last year Theresa and Chris lived in Memphis and had the honor of being resident playmates with Lena.
Ring Bearer
Abe is Chris's nephew and his sister Jill's son. Abe is always ready for action, even when it involves walking down the aisle.
