Maid of Honor
Nicole and Brenna have been friends for over 10 years. They went to Maple Grove Senior High together, and they became close during their cross country runs and struggles in math class. Their friendship didn't waver when they were in different parts of the country for college. Brenna has the biggest heart and has always been there for Nicole. They share a mutual love of wine, cats, and This is Us.
Best Man
Connor is the younger brother of the groom. They shared inumerable special moments growing up including playing on the same baseball team, fishing at their parents' cabin, and giving their sister a hard time. Connor is the only one with enough energy and spontaneity to hike Everest Base Camp with Kyle. Connor and Nicole have a special relationship that can only be described as sassy.
Matron of Honor
Rachel and Nicole met at UW-Madison their sophomore year in a microbiology class. Rachel quickly became Nicole's go-to Badger. Nicole has shared some of her best college memories (and more memories since then!) with Rachel, especially since they share the same birthday. Recently, Nicole was honored to be Rachel's co-maid of honor!
Groomsman
Brandon and Kyle became friends freshman year at UW. They were roommates for many years. Brandon even had the priviledge of living with both Kyle and Nicole for a year, during which time he got to know the couple better than he probably would have liked. Brandon visits Milwaukee often for XFL and Poto nights, and of course to see his niece.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and Emily met sorting corn flakes by color at possibly the worst summer internship ever. Emily was the saving grace of that summer and never failed to make Nicole laugh. Nicole can always count on Emily as boutique gym buddy, someone to discuss skin care regimens with, and a travel partner. They went to Denmark and Sweden together in 2019. Nicole had hoped to visit Emily at her new home in Switzerland, but #covid. Next year!
Groomsman
Jonah and Kyle met freshman year of college at UW. Jonah and Kyle have a reputation of being the life of the party up until 9 pm. Together, they coached soccer and played 4 years on the same Witte rec team at UW. Jonah moved to Colorado, but they still see each other often. Kyle has the honor of standing up in Jonah's wedding fall of 2021.
Bridesmaid
Katelyn is Kyle's younger sister. Nicole first met Katelyn at the Koehler family cabin. Nicole was terrified that Katelyn would not like her, but the two hit it off right away and stayed up late into the night chatting! Nicole is looking forward to finally having a sister, especially one as fun and kind as Katelyn.
Groomsman
Matt and Kyle became friends freshman year at UW. They lived together throughout college and now live nearby. Matt often hosts bonfire nights where the guys get to relax and have a beer (or two). Kyle can always count on Matt for a sports game or just to hangout. This will be his third wedding for our college friends that he’s stood up in, so you know he’s a great friend and person.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Nicole are cousins (second cousins once removed for those that like to get technical!) They have been fortunate to share the same family vacation since they were born. Rachel and Nicole really got close when they were roommates at UW-Madison and played on the same volleyball team. They now both live in the Milwaukee area and see each other often.
Groomsman
Josh and Kyle met in 8th grade playing basketball and baseball in Lemont and spent many summers at campfires and playing pickup games on the driveway. Since then, Josh has been a reliable and supportive friend. The duo make an effort to visit each other often, usually for sporting events or to get together at Hamilton's. They never miss a chance to play a round of golf.
Usher
Alex is Nicole's cousin (Jerry's sister Jennifer's son). Alex and Nicole both lived in the same area for a few years and were able to compete on the same volleyball team with some other cousins. They also get to see each other every year on their family vacation to Sturgeon Bay, WI and squeeze in some more time on the court.
Usher
Callen is Kyle's cousin (Bill's sister Peggy's son). Callen and Kyle both lived in the same area for a few years and were able to golf and spend time together between Madison and Milwaukee. They try to see each other for holidays, random weekends or just a round of golf in the area.
Personal attendant
Stephanie and Nicole met in med school and have become very close since. They motivated each other while studying for exams, especially step1. On top of being a wonderful friend, Stephanie is also one of the most organized and driven people ever and Nicole's favorite HBIC.
