Alex was just wrapping up catering a wedding when her buddy Jim shot out an invite to a party at his house. About an hour later, Adam (who had just moved in), logged off League of Legends and came up to join the party. While the party died out hours before, Adam & Alex stayed out on the front porch talking until 5 AM. The next day at work, a coworker asked Alex how her weekend went. She told her "I found my soulmate, but I don't plan to ever talk to him again." Turns out, she did in fact talk to him again. After running into each other over and over at different parties (and matching on Tinder), Alex finally asked Adam out on a date. Big shoutout to Kieran who told him to go! Eight months later we moved in together and Zola got the dad she never asked for. After going through all the big life changes - jobs, adopting another cat, coping with multiple Vikings losses, worldwide pandemics, leveling up from Franzia and Karkov to Kirkland's finest, & purchasing our first house, we're ready to start the next big chapter of our life together!
