Details to come
Wear something fabulous that makes you feel great! If you must put a name on it: FUN COCKTAIL ATTIRE. Colors, patterns, and/or bold accessories are encouraged. Though if you feel at your best in something more understated, then please wear that! If you’d like inspiration from the Arts District neighborhood (where our venue is located), see the photos in the Gallery.
Apart from speeches and the opening of the dance floor, the reception will be largely unstructured. If it is helpful, think of our “reception” as the opening/closing party for the One-Night-Only theatrical event that is our wedding. Food will be available starting promptly after the ceremony, and there will not be a formal, sit-down dinner. Please eat whenever you are hungry! While tables and chairs will be available, there won’t be any table or seating assignments. We encourage everyone to explore the art on display and mingle with the other guests.
FOOD: For dinner, there will be a selection of pizzas, salad, and garlic knots. For dessert, there will be donuts! DRINK: We will have an open bar serving wine, beer, soft drinks, and water. And the bar will be open starting at 4pm for everyone’s arrival!
Only if they are explicitly included in your formal invitation. While we would love to celebrate with everyone we know, venue and budget constraints mean that we simply can’t accommodate everybody.
From their website: "Located in the heart of the Los Angeles Arts District, Art Share L.A. is more than just a building. We are a creative incubator, gallery, performance space, and affordable housing complex dedicated to uplifting emerging artists and amplifying diverse voices.” The ceremony will take place inside the theater, as will dancing later on in the evening. The reception will expand into the art gallery and studio spaces.
