Glacier National Park
If your not from Montana and you have an extra day or two to explore while your here, you absolutely should go see GNP. Whether you want to go on a strenuous all day hike, a short hike with the kids, or just drive up the Going to the Sun Road, you'll see some of the most spectacular views you've ever seen. Best pizza in Missoula, and all locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, cooked in a classic brick oven. The Flathead Cherry pizza is our favorite! (they have great gluten free crust too!)

Great beer and beautiful patio! And there’s usually an awesome food truck parked outside too!

Caras Park
This is a great place to take the kids on a sunny day. There’s a really cool playground and a carousel for the kids, or just enjoy the river and watch people surf Brennan’s wave . Saturday morning there’s also a wonderful farmer’s market!
Hike the "M"- Mount Sentinel
This is like a right of passage in Missoula! This is quick hike will give you the best views of the university and the city. Its 3/4 mi (and 11 switchbacks) up to the M, and another mile to the very top of Mount Sentinel.
Holland Lake
This is where we went on our first date! Absolutely breathtaking views, a perfect spot to spend the day. There's a wonderful hike up to a waterfall!
