I was visiting my buddy Lucas in Boulder to see if I might want to move back to Colorado. When I arrived, Lucas took me straight from the airport to a new juice shop in Boulder. Lucas wasn't sure if I would love the juice, but he figured I might like one of the shop's owners. As it turns out, I had already initiated a Facebook stalking campaign of Robyn a month earlier and was planning to somehow meet her in Boulder with or without Lucas's help. Robyn told me later that she was a bit under slept that day. She had dislocated her shoulder the day before and Wonder had just opened a few days before that. When Lucas introduced us I poured on the charm and Robyn was unable to resist. She quickly realized that she had plenty of energy to grab a drink after work. Fast forward 2 1/2 years - I get to marry that pretty lady from Facebook who turned out to be smart, funny, ambitious, loving and able to push me outside of my comfort zone and help me be a better man. -Matt

Matt convinced me that he wanted to have some nice photos taken to send to his parents. Not sure why I fell for that - Matt hates having his photo taken. We asked my dear friend Elizabeth to do the photo shoot and picked out a little park in the mountains. I was definitely not expecting a proposal for at least a few more years - based on how Matt takes his sweet time researching and obsessing over every decision, big or small.
