The Boardwalk at Granite Park
The Boardwalk has a variety dining options all conveniently located with a waterfront view! Bring your drinks outside to one of the Adirondack chairs for a fun evening. Union Bear is our favorite spot to get a beer and some good apps!
The Shops at Legacy
Shops at Legacy is the area directly surrounding the Dallas/Plano Marriott. It is a center for nightlife and shopping. Early risers can enjoy a Starbucks and walk around the beautiful pond. Main Street Bread Baking Company is another great spot for breakfast!
Legacy West
Legacy West is the spot for high end shopping and dining! We suggest enjoying live music at the Box Garden and the best pecan pie at Haywire. There's something for everyone to enjoy at Legacy Hall, a modern food hall with a brewery on the top floor! This spot is a 15 minute walk from the Dallas/Plano Marriott!
Downtown Celina!
Visit our hometown! There's so much to do in our downtown square. From little boutiques, to tasty barbecue, your needs will be met here. Head to Valley Vines for our favorite wine, The Bobcat created for and sold just in Celina! It's a must for any out of towner. Enjoy food trucks and unique brews at Rollertown Brewery! Go find out why we love it here so much!
Fortunata Winery
This charming winery gets its own special shout out for being one of our all time favorite spots. It's about a 20 minute drive from the Dallas/Plano Marriott on the way to our venue, Oak + Ivy in Aubrey. Not only is the wine delicious, but the outdoor atmosphere and wood fire pizza cannot be matched! Try the Symphony white wine for the perfect summer refreshment!
Grandscape
If you are traveling into town with children, this is your destination! Grandscape provides a scope of entertainment from live music on the lawn, boutique stores and wine bars, to Andretti indoor motor speedway. We recommend getting a sweet bite at The Baked Bear or a free workout class on the lawn on Saturday mornings! This entertainment mecca is an 8 minute drive from the Dallas/Plano Marriott.
The Star District
Home of the Dallas Cowboys Headquarters, this area is a perfect place to shop, dine, and explore the Dallas-Cowboys! Even if you're not a Cowboys fan, the Tostitos Championship Plaza with a 50 yard football field replica and gigantic screen is something to see. This favorite of ours is only a 10 minute drive from Dallas/Plano Marriott.
Historic Downtown McKinney
Visit Historic McKinney to get that small-town Texas experience. The downtown streets are filled with antique shops and the best restaurants in the area. If you're really feeling Texan, try on some boots at Orisons! To eat, we recommend Cadillac Pizza Pub, The Yard, and Landon Winery! This special spot is about a 20 minute drive from the Plano/Marriott Hotel.
Downtown Dallas!
Dallas is only a 25-minute drive from the Dallas/Plano Marriott. Do the touristy thing and visit the JFK Museum, Reunion Tower, Klyde Warren Park, Dallas Zoo and more! If you're looking for more of a unique experience, check out Deep Ellum for shops and breweries. EBar, our first date spot, is nearby too for one of the best margaritas you'll ever have!
