Q&A

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is Formal (Black Tie Optional). Ladies: floor/below the knee length gowns or jumpsuits. Gents: suits and ties (barongs are welcome!) Please no streetwear! Any color is fine, but please avoid white/ivory/cream etc.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly let us know if you'll be joining us by June 28! If we don't hear from you, you will be greatly missed!

Question

Can I take photos/videos at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask everyone to be fully present and silence/put away their devices for the duration of the ceremony, ESPECIALLY if you'll be sitting near the aisle. We have an incredible team of photographers/videographers working hard to capture every moment! Feel free to take as many pictures and videos after the final blessing. Thank you!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your little ones, we've decided to keep our wedding an adults-only (21+) event with the exception of those in our bridal party or explicitly invited. We encourage parents to enjoy the evening out! Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

We can only accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation. If a plus one is included, it will be indicated there and the RSVP page.

Question

Is Transportation available to and from the reception?

Answer

A complimentary shuttle will run between the hotel block and reception. The shuttle will depart to the venue at 6:10 and 6:30 PM. Please see our travel page for more details and be sure to indicate if you’ll be using the shuttle on your RSVP! Kindly keep in mind there will be no transportation between the church and hotel/reception.

Question

How far are the church and reception from each other?

Answer

The ceremony is ~25 minutes away from the Barn at Villa Venezia in Middletown, NY. The hotel block and all other hotels are located 5-8 minutes from the reception. Please see our travel page for more information regarding lodging options!

Question

What should we do during the gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We understand the large gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour may be tricky especially for those not planning to stay in the area overnight. Please see our things to do tab for ways to pass the time in between! If you are staying at our hotel block, we encourage you to check in, rest, host your friends who are driving home later, grab a drink, etc.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be semi outdoors.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available in the lot of the church. Valet and self parking will be available for those driving to our reception. Please drive responsibly!!
