Can I Bring a Date?

Answer

Everyone over the age of 18 received their own invitation. Those under 18 are included with their parents. If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, then we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - however, we understand the necessity to let loose so once the party gets started feel free to lose the heels or pop that collar!

Where is the wedding taking Place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at the Atrium in Shorewood. Please see the itinerary tab for more details

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please see the itinerary tab for details on guest arrival to our venue for the wedding. Please see the travel tab for details regarding our hotel block.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We have sent invitations by mail that will include a paper RSVP you can send back in the pre-labeled envelope. Also, you can choose to RSVP online instead by following the QR code included in the invitation.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1st to ensure we have everything planned accordingly by our wedding date!

Will the ceremony by taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors; however, there will be a rooftop garden for the cocktail hour. There will be a coatroom for you to store your coat if it is cold.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be about 30 minutes long and will be officiated by the brother of the bride.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Milwaukee. Please see the "Travel" tab of our website for more details on travel and lodging.

Has transportation been arranged to and/or from the venue?

Answer

We are currently looking into shuttle options; however, as the wedding is taking place in Shorewood, which is right outside of downtown Milwaukee, there are many options for transportation. Some include Uber and Lyft. We recommend setting up apps with those transportation companies prior to the wedding.

Where can I park?

Answer

If staying at the hotel, we would appreciate it if you park at the hotel and utilize Uber and Lyft for the night. We want to ensure everyone thoroughly enjoys their time :) Otherwise, there is parking available at the school across the street.

Are there any local places you'd recommend I visit while I'm in town?

Answer

Definitely! Milwaukee has a TON of great places. Please see the "Food? Entertainment? Fun? Food..." tab for places near and dear to our hearts!

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a buffet style sit down dinner after the cocktail hour and before the party! Food will be catered in from Smoke Shack and will include salad, brisket, pulled chicken, assorted BBQ sauces, cornbread, collard greens, mac and cheese, and creamed corn.

Are children invited?

Answer

Most definitely! If you are in a family with children under the age of 18, the invitation is addressed to the entire family. We wanted to leave the decision up to you. Anyone over the age of 18 will receive their own invitation.

Are credit and debit cards accepted at the venue, or do I need cash?

Answer

Yes credit and debit cards are accepted

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

It is. There is an elevator to reach all levels of the venue.

What Covid-19 measures will be in place on the day?

Answer

We will follow the protocols put in place by the local government as required by the management of our venue. As of right now, there is no mask requirement; however, if anything changes we will update you all right away. PSA: Please keep all political talk over COVID to yourselves on our wedding day. We would appreciate it if the day could focus on love and family.

Should I bring a mask or face covering to the wedding?

Answer

Based on how quickly things can change nowadays, its best to be prepared in the event mask mandates pop up suddenly. We would love to see you all whether we are in masks or not!

Answer

We are! Please see the "Registry" page for all the details on our registry!

Should we bring gifts, or send them ahead of time?

Answer

Considering we will be moving to North Carolina shortly after our wedding. We would appreciate it if you could either bring gifts to the wedding or send them to 5119 Hidden Creek Drive, Sheboygan, WI 53083 (there will also be information on this on our Registry). The address is the parents of the bride and they will handle sending any gifts delivered after the date of the wedding to us.
