Mother of the Bride
Without Alison's hospitality, love and support, Jordan would be nowhere in life. We have endless things to thank her for, one of them being the opportunity to host our wedding on her and Phil's woodsy property! Together, they have put in many, many hours of behind-the-scenes work to make our wedding possible! Alison continues to run 5 miles every morning, embraces each day with a fresh sense of gratitude and pours her love and energy into supporting her family, friends and community.
Father of the Bride
Phil is the essence of patience, reliability and craftiness. Jordan would also be nowhere without him. He built everything you see on the property (including the wedding arbor at the focal point of our ceremony). His knack for creative expression shows up not only in his masterful craftsmanship, but also in his musical talents. You will hear him, along with his brother, (Jordan's Uncle Paul) singing in the ceremony. Phil takes daily bike rides about the GreenSprings, is usually fixing or building something and brings a sense of calm and stability wherever he is.
Mother of the Groom & Speaker
The super mom of the century, a lifelong cook and baker, and dancer. Susie has devoted her life to raising Rachel and Conner. She has persevered challenges that many don't come back from and through it all has always managed to find her footing and be the rock that helps keep her kids grounded. She loves the simple things in life; A good book or movie, a neighborhood dog walk, puzzles, conversations, and gardening. She is kind, silly, hardworking, honest, and generous.
Father of the Groom
One of the biggest smilers and without a doubt the loudest laugher around. Fred will be supporting this event in spirit. Fred was your Steve Irwin type. A true nature enthusiast, a bit eccentric, and always on the lookout to catch critters. He was a talented craftsman and builder, loved hiking and biking, and devoted his life to spirituality.
Sister of the Groom & Speaker
Quite possibly the nicest person on planet earth. Rachel is absolute gem of a human being and we adore her. She is full of compassion and empathy and would do whatever it takes to support her family. She shines with curiosity by regularly trying new experience/activities and traveling the world to keep life fresh. She is a dog mom to two adorable pits with her outstanding partner Tim. She has devoted her life to pediatrics and helping heal children. The world could use more Rachel's.
Brother of the bride and fire tender
Nelson is Jordan's older brother, who has been an influential part of her character development. He has been a loyal employee of the Oregon Department of Forestry since 2004, helping to mitigate and fight fire in our home state. While much of his career is spent suppressing fire, he is a true pyromaniac. He and his beautiful wife, Aundrea, stay busy caring for their two pups, two kitties and building out their lovely backyard in Talent. We are grateful to him for helping us have safe and lively fires throughout the weekend!
Officiant
Rich and his family are not related by blood, but they are family. His relationship with the Klings goes way back to college, where he, Alison and Phil became buds. He was the best man in their wedding, which makes it even more special to have him supporting us as we join in matrimony. The Klings (Phil, Alison, Nelson and Jordan) and Langs (Rich, Cathy, Michael and Andy) spent the first 18 summers of Jordan's life (and many more, intermittently, after that) building sand fortresses and memories together on the Oregon coast.
Violinist
Jordan and Abby first hit it off at age seven, tumbling around in gymnastics class. They have been dear friends since, and Abby is now a professional violinist in Miami, FL. You will hear her heart-swelling melodies throughout the ceremony. Abby is one of those people who is easy to connect with right away and has been a thoughtful, loyal friend over the decades. She and her fiancée, Krys, are getting married the weekend after ours!
Flutist
Conner's childhood friend and honorary brother. Travis is about as wholesome as it gets; generous, hardworking, trustworthy, playful, creative, funny, and honest. Integrity at its finest. He cares deeply for the wellbeing of all things and is constantly finding new ways to integrate love into his daily practice. He is a passionate about music, farming, his amazing wife Logan, and connecting humans to make the world a better place. He will be sure to bring the magic to his performance!
Sound Technician and DJ
A true talent, one of a kind person, and close friend to Conner. Luke shines in the light of comedy amongst his close friends and someone you can always count on. True to his word and there to show support when it's needed. Luke is passionate musician and sound genius. He has graciously offered to support all the sound necessities for the event and will be playing a dj set of his own during the late night.

Kathryn and Jordan met while living abroad and teaching English in France from 2014-2015. They became fast friends and have remained close ever since. Kathryn has been a steadfast adventure partner and is the type of person who puts in the effort to stay close and connected no matter the geographic distance! We are incredibly thankful that she and her husband, John, are able to make the trip from Pennsylvania to be here while their two little ones are at home!

The same is said about his identical twin brother Kavi. Teja is a dedicated Therapist and family man to his beautiful wife Priya and newborn Akash. We can't wait to hear your speech. We have a lot of gratitude for Teja!

Jess and Jordan became friends in Bend and have grown close over their shared love of suffering through blizzard conditions on cross country skis, narrowly surviving lightning strikes atop a mountain, and gravel biking long distances throughout central Oregon. She is a passionate student of life, often found mastering her skill with west coast swing dancing, learning new pieces on piano or ukulele, or projecting tricky rock-climbing routes. Jess is as reliable and thoughtful as they come, and Jordan and Conner are pleased to have her in their life now, and for decades beyond!
Ring Bearer
Conners partner in crime and lifelong friend. They have spent almost a year traveling the world and lived together for many years. Jarret is a pillar of play, laughter machine, and loves hard for the people closest to him. He's been known as a socialite for his ability to bring large groups of people together to celebrate. He's also getting married to his precious partner Kelsey. We adore Jarrett. The jobs easy, but important. Can't wait to be presented with those rings!
MC
A College friend of Conner and a tower of Joy that can't be missed. Standing over 6'6", this man brings the energy and we love him. The perfect person to MC a wedding. Jory has enough heart for 10 humans and inspires authenticity. He shares this energy with his adorable children and is a talented musician and farmer. He's quite a guy.
Guitarist
Matt has become a dear friend to Conner and Jordan and they could not be more thrilled to have him strumming melodic tunes on his guitar throughout their ceremony. Matt happens to be Jess's partner, and the four of us enjoy game nights, outdoor adventures and boogying down together at shows.
Floral Director
Laurie was Jordan's kindergarten- 2nd grade teacher at Pinehurst School (just across the street from the Kling's driveway!). She has been a dear family friend over the ages, and brings beauty into the community through her warm smile, glowing personality, and artfully crafted bouquets from her extensive garden. We are so grateful to her for being here with us and for overseeing the flower operations!
