For all those arriving at the airport, you can rent a car or use Uber/Lyft. It is approximately a 30 minute trip. A rental car is not necessary as transportation to the welcome dinner and to the venue will be offered via a shuttle service.
For those driving a car to the wedding celebrations, be aware that Illinois is not only the “Land of Lincoln”, but also the land of the toll road. Between the airports and wedding destinations you will encounter several toll booths, none of which allow you to pay with cash. All payments are via I-PASS or EZ-Pass or else via an inconvenient online payment at https://www.illinoistollway.com/unpaid-tolls. We suggest you either bring your EZ-Pass transponder or include one in your rental car agreement.
Our venue location opens to guests at 4pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue; however, please note that the parking area is gravel.
Space at the venue is limited. We ask that only the number of people listed on the invitation attend so we have enough chairs, food, etc for you.
As mentioned above, space is limited. We love you all and your children but we ask that you make other arrangements for child care for the ceremony and reception. We look forward to seeing your children at the welcome dinner!
The hotel is within walking distance of a variety of shops and restaurants.
