Nashville and Louisville are the closet major airports. Each are between 120 and 140 miles or about 2 hours drive time away. Note: Louisville is in Eastern time, while Owensboro is in Central time.

Only a year or two old, the Holiday Inn Riverfront is located (you guessed it!) along Owensboro's revitalized riverfront. It has it's own restaurant, plenty of parking, and is within walking distance to a handful of other restaurants downtown.

Like the Holiday Inn, the Hampton Inn is newly built along the river. They also have their own restaurant, a seafood place! The Hampton and Holiday Inn are the two fanciest hotels in Owensboro.

Our apartment is located directly behind this hotel. Seriously, we can steal their wifi, that's how close. It's not as new or exciting as the Holiday Inn and Hampton on the river, but if you want to spy on our cats from your hotel window, this is the spot!

There are a handful of Airbnb rentals located in Owensboro! They all seem to be within 10 to 20 minutes of the ceremony and reception locations. For reference, the Botanical Garden is in the northwest side of town. But there is a loop that runs the outer perimeter of town, making it easy to get from the opposite side in under 15 minutes.
