Smothers Park
Owensboro takes great pride in it's river park! Word around town is that the incredible playground cost over $1 million! If you arrive early on Friday night, Smothers Park is home to Friday After 5, which will have food vendors and live music. It's worth a visit and is within walking distance from the Hampton and Holiday Inn.

Jeff's favorite Thai restaurant in town. Besides the killer food, we also enjoy the not-so-creative restaurant name.
Fetta Specialty Pizza & Spirits
Besides their...interesting...specialty pizzas (one is topped with mashed potatoes!), Fetta has fantastic pizza. It's located on the river in Smothers Park, near the Holiday Inn and Hampton.
Bar Louie
Hit up Bar Louie for all your late night fun. It's a classy, but casual bar with great appetizers!
Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum
Owensboro is home to the Bluegrass Hall of Fame! The museum is located in a brand new building near Smothers Park. Burn off some of those calories after you've explored all the restaurants we've recommended by touring the museum!
