Summer 2020 was a strange one indeed. Sarah had just finished her pediatric residency and moved to New Jersey to begin her fellowship. David was in the process of starting a new adventure in Philadelphia. One evening, on the balcony of her apartment, Sarah began a conversation with her new neighbors, Will and Jill. Sarah quickly became friends with Will and Jill (we can thank the cats, but that’s a different story). Eventually, it was decided that Sarah would join them for dinner and drinks. After dinner, Jill told Sarah that she had a friend that she wanted Sarah to met. Remember, it’s summer 2020 and Sarah had just moved. Having nothing better to do, Sarah agreed. Meanwhile, Jill also told David that she had a friend she wanted him to meet. David also reluctantly agreed. Jill and Will planned an evening of dinner and drinks at King’s Road. Not really interested in being set up, Sarah tried her best to ignore David. Not to be deterred, Will and Jill insisted on leaving to pick up dinner and left Sarah and David on their own, forcing the ice to break. After eating, Will and Jill insisted that they had to go home, once again leaving David and Sarah on their own. Sarah and David had started to talk and suddenly it was last call. They agreed to meet again, and here we are today.
