We'd love to celebrate with everyone, but unfortunately, we just don't have the space! Plus ones are reserved for those listed on the envelopes such as significant others, please refrain from bringing friends and/or casual dates. Sorry for the inconvenience, feel free to reach out to us with questions.
The short answer is yes. However, the ceremony and the reception will be held in the same place. We know it’s hard for young children to sit through a ceremony and we will be providing a cry room for infants and toddlers. The ceremony will be streamed on a monitor so parents don’t miss out!
November 11th! You can RSVP by post or online at this very website. If you need assistance please contact the couple.
Yes, you probably noticed our wedding will be "Formal" but hey, what does that mean? Our rule of thumb is this: 1) Think "fancy". This is a great time to bust out your best. 2) If you wouldn't wear it in front of *your* grandmother, please don't wear it in front of our grandmas. 3) The bride would prefer to be the only one in a wedding dress. We also want you to wear what's comfortable! Suit no tie? Sure! Or tie but no jacket? Absolutely. Kilt? Bring it. Tea length dress? Cute! Formal hoop skirt a la renaissance? Can't wait to see it. But jeans and bikinis... not so much. If you feel like matching the environment to get that perfect Instagram selfie, our colors are grey, black, white and burgundy.
Yes! We've created a list of experiences and things for our home that we'd love to share together at Zola. You can find it on our registry page!
First off, thank you for supporting our marriage and helping us build our new home! Zola has a price match guarantee if you find it somewhere else, let customer service know! Their team is great and very responsive if you have any questions about the registry or cash funds. When you buy an item off our Zola registry the couple has the option to ship it when they are ready. Joel and Kelli don't have a place together yet so they are a little low on storage space. This is the couple's preferred method. If you prefer to bring a physical item to the shower or wedding, you may elect to send Zola gifts to your home. Additionally most of our items can be found in-store or on amazon. Please let the couple or one of their parents know if you buy an item elsewhere so we can mark it as purchased. This will help to cut down on doubles and returns.
Our food will be buffet style, there will be gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian options along the buffet. Please only let us know if you need your meal prepared separately. Our featured meal is "breakfast for dinner", including waffles, eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, etc. We want to be sure that everyone can eat and drink while we marry! So, if you have further concerns please contact the couple. Mangia!
The ceremony begins at 4 pm, followed by a cocktail hour at 5pm then dinner and dancing begin at 6. So you have some options! Leave when you like, but please let us know if you only plan on staying for the ceremony. The bride and groom will be having a special send-off at 10:30pm and all are welcome to join. From start to finish it's about 6.5 hours.
Many friends of the bride, in particular, will be familiar with the phrase, "if you're on time, you're late". Please be seated by 3:55. The ceremony begins promptly at 4 pm. Doors will open half an hour before the ceremony.
