Question

Is this a queer wedding?

Answer

Yes! Not only is the couple of honor a queer couple, but there will be many trans queer friends and family attending, who we love dearly. With that being said, please be respectful of ALL sexual orientations, gender expressions, and pronouns 💖 We are a diverse couple with an even more diverse community and we want everyone to feel comfortable, welcome, and safe 🌈

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

We ask everyone to wear white as your base. Have fun and accent away. Our wedding colors are dusty rose, white, rose gold, and grey.

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

We’re a mixed cultural couple who are more spiritual than religious so our ceremony and practices will be a mix. We will have a officiant, a braiding ceremony, vows, a community contract, family style dinner, a money dance, and a party to celebrate the love and support from you all. We appreciate you celebrating with us in our unique way and are blessed to have such rich cultural and familial backgrounds that help us learn how to show our love.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There are several parking lots in the park that are just a short walk away from the Rose Garden. Our recommended hotel is just a 5 min cab away as well.

Question

What can I do to help?

Answer

A lot of you have given amazing advice and support already. Thank you. We have some day of jobs we can use help with but if you have a resource, connection, or skill you want to offer-please do! money is our biggest hurdle so far so we put space for that in our registry, but overall we are always grateful to celebrate and work in community. just call us. ❤️

For all the days along the way
