Answer

Nice, but not too nice to play lawn games if you want! Nice jeans acceptable, prepare for possible weather changes! Worry more about staying comfortable than dressing fancy. It's our day, but we want everyone there to have a good time and feel comfortable!

Is there a hike to the location?

Answer

Nope, the location is a short, easy walk from the parking area.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Lory State Park has rules against alcohol 3.2% and higher. But what they don't know won't hurt anyone. We ask all guests to mind their P's and Q's however, we /will/ ask you to leave if we do not like your behavior. We are all about fun, but will not be tolerating drama. Please do not come if you are not able to control your drama with other guests.

Will your other family be there?

Answer

Yes. McMurray/Jillson, Hersh, and Doss families will all be there. Despite past issues, we ask that everyone attending set aside differences for one single day, for us. No form of gossiping, bullying, teasing, taunting, or other behavior of the type will be permitted. Any and all guests breaking this will promptly be asked to leave the party. Having connections within the sherrif's and rangers, legal force will be used if required. If you feel this will be a problem for you, we ask you do not come.

What will be the food provided?

Answer

We are planning in catering from Serious Texas BBQ, and Silvermine. we will also be providing the usual cook-out style foods. There will be vegetarian options. All guests are welcomed to bring specific foods if they desire. There is a grill and fire pit on site.
