FAQs

Question

Where the heck is the Museum of Life and Science??? Where do I go when I get there??

Answer

Great question! If you've never been, the museum is located at: 433 W. Murray Ave, Durham, NC When you arrive, you'll see a gate (and hopefully, other guests arriving) toward the end of the parking lot, park near that end of the lot, follow the sidewalk up and to the left, you'll see the conservatory. Staff should be able to guide you to the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 6:45pm, as we will be starting at 7pm, at which point no one will be admitted until after the ceremony, to join the reception.

Question

Can I take pictures with my cell phone?

Answer

We would like this to be an "unplugged" event, and we are asking that no one take pictures of the wedding, bridal party, or reception. We have hired a photographer and do not want pictures shared or posted on social media before we have had a chance to review and post our own photos of our day. Please be respectful of this request.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have opted for a cash fund, which can be contributed to through Venmo

Question

When should I RSVP by? Can I bring a date??

Answer

Once you receive your invitation, please RSVP promptly by August 1st, 2025. We will be confirming the head count on August 2nd and no late RSVPs will be added. Our guest list is quite small, if the invitation does not include a "plus one", please do not bring one.

Question

Are kids welcome?
