When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We cannot wait to be with you on our special day! The wedding dress code is semi-formal attire, tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. For the welcome party and brunch, it's casual. Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, our wedding ceremony and reception are going to be adults-only so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. That said, kids are welcome at the welcome party and brunch. We've reached out to Snappy Sitters (https://snappysitters.com/) and reserved two babysitters for the wedding day / night. Please email us at kitandmarkwedding@gmail.com if you'd like to use one of these babysitters, and we can coordinate. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at the Wild Rye Lawn at 3:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors on the Wild Rye Lawn. From there, we'll walk on a paved path over to The Barn for cocktail hour. Cocktail hour will be on the patio outside The Barn before we transition inside for dinner and dancing.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our recommendation is to stay at Brasada Ranch as all wedding events will take place on property. Brasada has a variety of accommodation types, from Ranch House Guest Rooms to 2 and 4 bedroom cabins. We have secured a discounted wedding rate for the week. Rates are available via the reservations line only and will not be reflected if booking on the website. To make your reservation, please call the reservations team at (877) 771-4239 and tell them you are booking rooms for the Evans + Theilmann Wedding in May 2025. If you'd like to stay outside of Brasada Ranch, there are a number of hotels in Redmond that are only ~20 minutes away.

Is there parking at Brasada Ranch?

Answer

Brasada provides free parking for up to two vehicles per cabin. For oversized vehicles or more than two cars, please contact them for alternative parking arrangements. If you're staying at another hotel and plan to drive to Brasada Ranch for the wedding events, there's plenty of parking at Wild Rye and behind the General Store.
