Kit and Betsy met through a dating app. They had their first date, meeting first at Spring Street Bar & Grill for drinks, to be followed by a Moth Story Slam storytellers show, a short walk away at Headliners. Betsy was impressed with Kit's creative date ideas, and Kit was impressed with Betsy's green hair and sense of humor. From there they discovered they enjoyed a lot of the same things and continued to spend more and more time together, having fun, laughing, going to punk shows and museums, and getting outdoors as much as possible. Betsy remembers waiting for Kit to arrive at a restaurant for a lunch date. She spotted him outside the window on the sidewalk, bouncing along with a big smile on his face, and thought he was adorable. That's when she knew she really liked him. Kit remembers that day too and his excitement to meet up with the girl he liked for sushi and sake. He still feels that excitement today. As time progressed, they became best friends and fell in love. Four years later, during a trip to Europe, Kit proposed to Betsy, in the sculpture garden of the Pompidou Centre, a modern art museum, overlooking Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Betsy, of course, said yes! Together, we hope that you'll join us as we celebrate getting married! There will an outdoor ceremony, followed by a reception.
