Where to even start with Jake? He and I have been friends since I was a junior in high school. Jake has been like an adorable younger brother to me for years. Though we can only talk occasionally, we always pick up right where we left off. He has a very special place in my heart and likely always will. He is currently studying nuclear engineering in Idaho and I use the term "studying" loosely as he seems to get great grades without much studying at all. Don't I have some smart friends?

Duzzy is an all-around great guy. We met when a mutual friend mistook me for single and tried to set us up on a date. It didn't work, no chemistry, but we did become fast friends. He is always positive and always happy. Not to mention, he is the genius behind the beautiful engagement photos of Ryan and I that you're bound to see plastered everywhere. Who better to stand with me at my wedding?

We were adversaries in high school who then became friends via Instagram. Very millennial of us, right? We've spent the last while visiting each other every few months, swapping workouts, and video chatting. She is one of the kindest and gentlest souls I've ever encountered in such a buff body. She has brought a lot of light and positivity into my life through her amazing emotional maturity.

We met a few years ago through Reign of Terror, a haunted house I worked at. He has such an infectious personality and brings light to everything he does. A couple of years ago, he dragged me to EDC which is a MASSIVE rave. It really wasn't my thing but his energy got everyone excited and we all had a great time. I love going on occasional runs with him and chit chatting about life. Josue pushes me really, really, REALLY far out of my comfort zone and I am (usually) very grateful for it.

Best Man
Jake is a pretty good guy. If he's not the best he's definitely up there. Anyone who talks to Jake for over five minutes will see how interesting and kind he is. He can blow a hardboiled egg out of its shell like no one else, and he always gets the people going. To me, he looks like a poor man's Orlando Bloom. He can always be counted on to make people laugh.

Jared is maybe the person I've argued with the most in my life, like the time we got into a screaming match over an argument over whether or not when paint was sealed inside a paint can it was the same color when unsealed or was technically lacking color because of the lack of light. I don't remember my side of the argument but I do remember he was wrong. We've never let our arguments drive a wedge between us though, I've always thought of us as two knives sharpening themselves against each other. He's also one of my favorite people to cook with, whether it be a sandwich made of leftovers or trying to make something his dad taught us our own way. When we put our heads together in the kitchen I always have a great time.
Kayla Thorgusen

Kayla is one of the smartest, stubbornest people I've ever met. She is working on a business econ degree at UCLA and has one of their top scholarships. Although usually stressed, she can be counted on for a good game of pool or a drink at a local dive bar. She makes quick friends with the people she determines to be worthwhile and is a very loyal person.
Terrance

When I asked Terrance to be one of my groomsmen, he responded by saying yes but that he didn't think he was close enough to Kitana or me to be part of our wedding party. I disagree. Terrance is a very uplifting guy who is always buying people drinks with a smile on his face. He absolutely loves to party and spend time with the people he cares about. He is currently working for a veterinary company and his work takes him all around the country.
