Well, well, well! Who would've thought a global pandemic would come along? Not like we had plans or anything! All jokes aside, your health & safety come first. "I do's" and a party come after. We are so excited to turn our dream winter wedding into a summer soirée. Fingers crossed that no more surprises are thrown our way, but you know what they say, Man plans, God laughs. Keep checking here for all the updates! Love always, Ally & Danny
"Danny & I met while attending school together. I honestly swoon every time he describes the first time he saw me. He says he walked into that first class we had together and immediately had to walk back out to regain his composure. I still remember him walking in too. We made eye contact and it felt as though we had known each other forever. Although it was love at first sight for us, we didn't come into fruition as a couple for a while. A semester later, I walked into class and saw him sitting in the back row. Cue the butterflies! There were many available seats since we were literally the only two in the classroom at the time, but I still walked right up to him, took the seat next to him and proceeded to make the boldest move I had ever made in my life... I showed him the score of the Capitals game. He took to it like a fish to water and he got my number and asked me out to a game at the end of the night. We made it *official* in February of 2015 and life's been a dream ever since. I can't wait to make it lawfully official, six years later, in August 2021!" -Ally
"I don't know why Ally asked me to write this. I practically blacked out from nerves when I asked her to marry me, but I will give it a shot. Although our initial connection was made through sports, music has played such a large role in our lives individually, so of course it became an important common ground for us. In the beginning, I annoyed her with hours of heavy metal, while she did the same to me with country. Funny enough, we started to love each other's musical preferences. So when the time came closer for me to ask her hand in marriage, I was thinking how can I do this? She mentioned... no, not mentioned-- she spoke constantly about wanting to visit Nashville. I thought it would be perfect. A city that loves music just as much as we do. My favorite photos to see of her are the ones when she put on performances, fashion shows and concerts when she was little. I can tell you even at 27, nothing has changed for her. Her life is a stage and I wanted the proposal to follow suit. So on the most important stage in country music, I got down on my knee and truth be told, I have no idea what I said, but the ring is on her finger and we're getting married." - Danny
