September 2nd, 2021 For Kishan's birthday, I had given him a book, "3000 Questions About Me". I thought it would be fun for both of us to fill it out and give it to each other one day, years later on our anniversary. I figured I would have to keep hounding him to finish it ... A month later, Kishan planned a trip for us to spend our vacation time together in Chicago. I had been looking forward to a vacation for so long! I immediately started looking for dresses and outfits for the trip when he told me about it. I found a dress on Lulus that I was thinking of maybe buying. Two weeks later, he sent me a surprise in the mail and bought the dress for me! I packed it in my suitcase and brought some shoes to go with it. When we got there, we went downtown and enjoyed the city. He took me to see the city skyline in front of the Adler Planetarium. There, he told me to close my eyes and he put a book in my hand. I didn't know what the object was at first, and as soon as I could feel the pages, I started crying (I'm a really big crier). He told me to open my eyes and read the answer to the first question of the book, "What is your idea of perfect happiness?" I then read his deepest feelings about me and my heart completely melted. He even finished all 3000 questions in the book! Then, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Once I finally stopped crying, I said YES to my soul mate!
